Peter is an Architect and Landscape Designer. He holds an M.Phil from the University of Cambridge in Sustainable Architecture, is a member of the RIBA International Validation Panel for Education and has been a guest critic at various UK schools of architecture.
Peter Williams Studio is a new studio focused on both Landscape and Architecture projects, working directly with clients and as a consultant to other design professionals in multi-disciplinary teams, on both private and public projects.
Peter’s interests lie in the junction and interrelationship between landscape and architecture and how both external and internal spaces are crafted with a sense of delight, richness of natural materials, detail and simplicity. While architecture is often static, landscape is constantly dynamic, changing with the years as it matures, as the seasons move on, down to the minute of each day. It is the dynamism and richness which he enjoys working with, be it a 3.5 acre landscape in a rural setting or a 14 square metre urban courtyard garden.
